Golf Competitions Rules

Rules for Champagne Scramble

Each player drives off.  The drive that is chosen must be played from the spot and all other team members are allowed to drop a ball as near as possible to that spot but not nearer the hole in play.  The team chooses which drive they wish to play.

THREE drives from each player must be used

All members finish out the hole with their own ball.  The best 2 scores are recorded.  The same applies to all other holes except the three par 3’s where all members play their own ball to the green and finish out the hole with their own ball.  Again the best two scores are recorded.

These are rules for 4 or 3 person Champagne Scramble.

Rules for 18 hole - 3 Person Rumble

Scoring is by Stableford.
On the first 6 holes (1-6), the best single score for these holes is recorded in the appropriate columns (A, B, C, D).
On the next six holes (7-12), the best two scores are recorded in the appropriate columns.
On the last six holes (13-18) all three scores are recorded in the appropriate columns.

These are rules for 18 hole 3 Person Rumble.

Rules for 18 hole – Strokeford Comp

The first 9 holes are played using the stableford format.
The second 9 holes are played using the strokeplay format.
The score is calculated by subtracting the Stableford points from the Net stroke score.

Example.  A player has 18 Stableford points on the front 9 and 37 Net strokes (subtract half of h/c from gross score) on back 9.  The result is 37 minus 18 = 19.

The player with the lowest score is the winner.
